Miki Shower

Today, my wonderful friend Dawn had an adoption shower for us. She has been waiting for years to do this.  She is the most amazing and creative person and you wouldn't believe all that she did to pull off the Africa theme.   I thought I'd share some of the photos below.

First she welcomed Guests with this cute sign on her door.

Then she had each person write a blessing for Miki and she's putting them all in a special scrapbook she made.

She had mason jars wrapped with burlap and animal print paper to hold the punch.

She had the silverware wrapped in animal print napkins tied with raffia.

At Target, I registered for this Ethiopian doll even though Miki is a boy! haha 
I thought it would be neat for him to have this in his bedroom.

 I am so thankful to my friend Dawn for all she did for us. And thank you to our friends for blessing us with gifts for Miki.
